# Plan your days in Luxor.

Temples, tombs, and time between them. Choose a route that leaves room for the way you like to travel.

For a first visit, we suggest three full days: the east-bank temples, the royal tombs, then Deir el-Medina and Medinet Habu. One or two days call for fewer stops; four days add smaller sites, while five spread the main visits out. The Nile extension allows four days in Luxor, with time on the boat arranged separately.

## Three days in Luxor

Connect the great temples with the royal tombs and the village of the people who made them. Keep a proper break each day and the third afternoon free for the river or the city.

## Luxor and the Nile

**Days in Luxor**: 4

**Pace**: Steady

Spend four days connecting Luxor’s temples and tombs before continuing on the Nile. If you arrive by boat from Aswan, use the city visits afterwards.

The sailing days are additional. Confirm the boat’s route, boarding point and departure date before fixing your stay.
