The site and your data

Luxor101 is an editorial guide in the Remal network. These pages are hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Your browser sends technical information, including your IP address and the requested page, to the hosting provider to deliver and protect the site. Hosting log retention is controlled by the hosting account.

What we store in your browser

Necessary storage: luxor101:privacy:v1 is a first-party localStorage record, not a cookie. It is created when you accept, reject, save preferences or withdraw. It holds the notice version, category choices, decision and dates, without your name or contact details. Both acceptance and rejection last 180 days from your decision; browsing does not extend this period. You can clear it using your browser settings. This choice applies only to Luxor101.

Optional analytics runs only if you allow it in Cookie settings. A new notice version means an earlier choice does not carry over. Advertising is disabled. If your browser blocks storage, your choice can apply to this page only.

Changing your choice

Open Cookie settings in the footer at any time. When optional consent is active, Withdraw optional consent turns it off in one action and removes accessible first-party analytics cookies. Withdrawal stops future measurement; it does not erase information already sent to a provider. Neither refusal nor withdrawal blocks the guides.

Links, enquiries and rights

There is currently no live enquiry, booking or newsletter form on these pages. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy information. A request for travel help would not itself authorize analytics or marketing.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal data, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and complain to the relevant data protection authority. Your browser settings let you inspect and delete this site's local preference record.

Fonts, diagrams and analytics.

Fonts and diagrams are served with the site; the application has no embedded videos or third-party map widgets. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 records page views and a small set of planning actions. It receives a fixed guide path and action name, not the full URL, search terms, form values or referrer. Google’s script loads only after you opt in. Google may process your IP address and browser or device details, and its service settings may collect other usage information. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 180 days without being refreshed on each visit. Advertising, Google Signals and ad personalisation are off. Server logs.

The project is configured for Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process visitors’ IP addresses and other request and network information to deliver and secure the site. This code review does not establish the live account’s logging, analytics, cookie or retention settings. Those settings and the site operator’s privacy contact still need confirmation; we do not promise that no server logs are kept. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its general practices.
